A Message from Brian Wilson - LSN Music Parents President

Dear Visitor:

Welcome! Thank you for visiting the LSN Music Parents website!

It is my pleasure and honor to serve as President of the Lee’s Summit North Music Parents organization. The Music Parent’s organization strives to provide exemplary support to the LSN Music department activities and facilities provided by our outstanding school district. We are blessed to have an excellent teaching staff, an incredible administration and the most multi-talented student body anywhere. Coupled with you, our parent’s organization, there is no limit to what we can achieve.

If you are the parent of a music student then you are already a member of the LSN Music Parent’s organization and I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to please become involved. This website is for you and your student and is your gateway for information, communication, and entertainment. You can obtain a calendar of events, contact information for officers and committee chairs, photos of performances and activities, and find information about the music and the music department at Lee’s Summit North High School!

Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month, where everyone involved has the chance to hear from the instructors and the committee chairs about what’s going on. This is where you can become involved, have input, present new ideas, and where you can send the message to the administration, music department and your student that you care about what they are doing and that you are there for them.
Getting involved should be Fun! When you attend, besides everyday business, our meetings provide a way you can make friends and become involved in the school’s music community. Plus, we occasionally get to hear different performance groups, test products and food samples, choose fund raising ideas, and brainstorm ideas for upcoming events. There is a level of involvement and fun for everyone no matter what amount of time they have to give. Whether your student is in band, orchestra or choir (or any combination of the three), we have a way for you to get involved. Please come to our meetings and contact any member of the board to find out how.
