A Message from Robin Dawson - LSN Music Parents President

Dear Visitor:

It is my pleasure and honor to serve as the President of the Lee’s Summit North Music Parents organization. This group is an excellent example of the good that comes from parents supporting the activities provided by our outstanding school district. I have learned that we are blessed to have an excellent teaching staff, an incredible administration and the most talented students anywhere. When coupled with our parents group, there is no limit to what we can achieve.

By visiting this website you have opened the door to information, communication and entertainment. You can obtain a calendar of upcoming events, emails and phone numbers for officers and committee chairs, pages and pages of photos of the student performances and activities and a wealth of other information about music at LSN! The site is your gateway to everything you need to know and everyone you may need to contact.

If you are the parent of a music student then you are a member of our group. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to get involved in our organization. By attending the meetings, held on the 2nd Monday of each month, you will have the chance to hear from the instructors and the committee chairs about what’s going on, what’s coming up and ways you can enrich your student’s experience. We are also lucky to have a different performance group open our meetings so you will hear first-hand the impact you can have on our kids. You will also send the message to your student that you care about what they are doing and want to be there for them.

There is a level of involvement for everyone no matter what amount of time they have to give. Whether your student is in band, orchestra or choir (or any combination of the three), we have a way for you to get involved. Please contact any member of the board to find out how.
